1:25 Scale Model Boat Crew – Mobile Marine Robbe Krick Eldergarth

This standing crew figure brings realism and character to modern harbor tugboat models like the Eldergarth. Dressed in a sturdy work shirt and well-worn jeans, he stands confidently, leaning forward with his hands on his hips, his face set in deep concentration as he focuses on the task at hand. His stance and expression capture the essence of a skilled and experienced crew member, making him a dynamic addition to any working tug scene.

Designed to complement the Eldergarth and similar modern harbor tugs, this figure fits seamlessly into 1:25 scale model boats, adding a human element to detailed maritime displays. Built in 1981 by Mactay's of Birkenhead, the Eldergarth was the first of five new ASD (Azimuthing Stern Drive) tugs, entering service in October of that year, followed shortly by her sister ship, Rowangarth, in November. From 1982 to 1999, both vessels alternated between service on the River Mersey and Cabinda, Africa, handling demanding harbor operations.

Today, the Rowangarth remains on-station on the Tyne, while the Eldergarth, now renamed the Shannon, operates on the Clyde. This detailed model boat crew figure enhances the realism of any modern tugboat scene, making it an essential addition for modellers looking to create an immersive and lifelike working harbor environment.

The figure corresponds to a specific scale measurement; for example, a 6-foot man will be accurately represented at the appropriate scale. Expect slight variations across different figures, which add unique character to your model.
