TG17b Deck Crew Hard Hat Figure – 1/32 Scale for Ayton Cross

This detailed Jager Hobby deck crew figure brings authenticity and action to your 1/32 scale Ayton Cross or other mobile marine models. Dressed in a simple vest, sturdy work trousers, and tall, well-worn boots, he is captured in a dynamic pose, bending over with both hands outstretched as he lifts a heavy load. His hard hat adds a layer of safety realism, making him ideal for placement on deck during heavy-duty operations.

Designed to complement Ayton Cross and her sister ship Ormesby Cross, this figure fits seamlessly into the world of modern tugboats. Built in 1999 by Astilleros Zamacona in Spain, these Wijsmuller 34m ASD (Azimuthing Stern Drive) tugs are powered by twin 2000hp engines, delivering an impressive bollard pull of over 55 tons. Originally stationed on the Tees, the Ayton Cross was later relocated to the Mersey in 2005 and has since operated globally.

Like the full-size vessel, the Ayton Cross model offers multiple livery options, allowing modellers to customize their build with historically accurate or personally inspired colour schemes. This large, high-volume tugboat is a striking and powerful model, and the addition of this hard-working deck crew figure enhances the realism of any scene, whether in operation or at rest.

Ideal for tug enthusiasts and maritime model builders, this figure adds a human touch to your vessel, bringing the scale and function of the Ayton Cross to life.

The figure corresponds to a specific scale measurement; for example, a 6-foot man will be accurately represented at the appropriate scale. Expect slight variations across different figures, which add unique character to your model.
