TG117 is the first in a characterful set of four early 20th century working deck hands, inspired by the tough men who crewed vessels such as Clyde Puffers, canal barges, and coastal cargo steamers.

This figure portrays an older deck worker who has clearly lived a hard working life. He stands slightly stooped from years of hauling rope, coal, timber and cargo. His heavy jacket hangs naturally from his frame, sleeves worn and practical. A flat cap sits low over a weathered face, framed by distinctive large handlebar moustache and thick sideburns — the kind of facial hair you’d expect from a man who’s spent decades in wind and salt spray.

His relaxed but weighty stance makes him perfect for:
