SM28 – RSM Tom Pugh is an unpainted scale model figure inspired by the classic 1958 British wartime film Ice Cold in Alex.
Portraying RSM Tom Pugh, played by Harry Andrews, the figure captures the tough, dependable NCO in a natural hands-on-hips pose, dressed for the heat and hardship of the North African desert.
SM28 is part of a dedicated range of Ice Cold in Alex figures, designed around the principal characters and memorable situations from the film. The collection includes Captain Anson, RSM Tom Pugh, Captain van der Poel and Sister Diana Murdoch, together with alternative movie-orientated poses suitable for creating a complete crew display around the famous Austin K2/Y ambulance “Katy.”
Each figure is designed to work either as an individual character model or as part of a larger Ice Cold in Alex diorama, allowing modellers to recreate the atmosphere of the crew's remarkable journey across the desert.
The model is supplied UNPAINTED, ready for preparation, assembly and painting.
