B53 – Maverick Seated is an unpainted multi-scale model figure inspired by the classic 1980s Maverick look from Top Gun and designed specifically with scale motorcycle displays in mind.
Maverick is depicted in a natural seated riding pose, with both arms extended forward ready to meet the handlebars. The open leg position and upright upper body make this a versatile motorcycle figure suitable for adapting to a variety of scale bikes.
The sculpt features the unmistakable 1980s naval aviator style, including a detailed brown flight jacket with raised aviation patches, fur-style collar, white T-shirt, blue jeans, boots and classic aviator sunglasses. Creases, seams, zips, patches and folds are all sculpted into the model, providing plenty of detail for painting and weathering.
B53 is particularly well suited to the iconic Kawasaki GPZ900R, making it a great companion for plastic model kits such as the Aoshima 1/12 GPZ900R when ordered in the corresponding scale. The pose can also work extremely well with a Kawasaki Ninja H2R, diecast motorcycles and other suitably proportioned model bikes.
Available in multiple scales, B53 gives collectors and modellers the opportunity to match Maverick to model kits and diecast motorcycles in their collection.
This figure also complements the other Maverick and Charlie figures in our range, allowing you to create anything from a single motorcycle display to a larger Top Gun-inspired scene.
The model is supplied UNPAINTED, ready for preparation, assembly and your own choice of finish.
